How to write a great Secret Santa wish list

    1. Stay inside the budget. If the limit is $25, list things around $25 so your Santa isn’t stuck choosing.
    2. Give a range. Mix one specific item, one category (“any fantasy paperback”) and one wildcard.
    3. Add the details only you know. Sizes, allergies, favorite colors and what you already own.
    4. Link examples, not orders. A link shows the style you like. Let your Santa choose the final pick.
    5. Share it early. Send your list right after the Secret Santa draw so there’s time to shop and ship.

    Secret Santa wish list FAQ

How do I share my Secret Santa wish list?

Add your ideas, then press “Copy share link”. Send the link to your organizer or post it in the group chat. Anyone who opens it sees your list, read-only.

Do I need an account to make a wish list?

No. The whole list is stored inside the link itself, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing saved on our servers.

Can I edit my list after sharing it?

Yes. Your draft stays in this browser. Change it and copy a fresh link. Older links keep showing the old version, so resend the new one.

What should I put on a Secret Santa wish list?

Three to five ideas inside the agreed budget works best. Add sizes, favorite colors or flavors, things you already have, and anything you’d rather not get.

Will my Secret Santa know I made the list?

They’ll see your name on it, which is the point. It doesn’t reveal who drew you, so the surprise stays intact.
